Dear SSES K-5 Families,
This week, your generosity was on full display—once again proving that our community has a heart as big as our appetites! The Souper Bowl was nothing short of spectacular, with donation boxes bursting at the seams.
Curious about who our students and staff predict will take home the Lombardi Trophy on Sunday? Here’s how the food count stacked up:
🏈 Kansas City Chiefs – 270 items
🦅 Philadelphia Eagles – 378 items
So, according to our experts, the Eagles are flying high! (I can already hear every NY Giants fan groaning in the distance. I know; the Saquon loss still hurts.)
Meanwhile, today’s 100th Day of School celebrations were nothing short of epic. Among the many highlights, the Giant Domino Run was a masterpiece of engineering, patience, and sheer joy. (Watch the attached video—you won’t regret it!)

Thank you, Ethan Marquis and Alex Ferrante, for being our videographers and doing so without stepping on a single student!
A huge shout-out to our amazing parent volunteers, a.k.a. the Cereal Posse, for counting donations, setting up an intricate cereal-box maze, and packing everything up for delivery to the Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry in Bridgeport. We couldn’t have done it without you—literally.
Easton families, your generosity and teamwork continue to amaze me. Thank you for making our school a place where kindness always wins.
With appreciation,
Kimberly Fox Santora
