Dear SSES Community:
It is with a full and grateful heart that I write to share that I will be retiring at the end of this school year.
Serving as Principal of Samuel Staples Elementary School since 2004 has been the honor of my life. After 34 wonderful years in education, I find myself reflecting with deep appreciation on a career that has given me far more than I could ever give in return.
SSES is a truly special place. Over the past two plus decades, I have had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary teachers, staff members, and administrators whose dedication to children is unwavering. Together, we have celebrated countless successes, navigated challenges with resilience, and always kept students at the center of our work. I am immensely proud of all that we have accomplished as a school community.
To so many Easton families, thank you for your trust, partnership, and support. It has been a joy to watch your children grow, not only academically, but also as kind, confident, and capable individuals. To my incredible students, past and present, you have been my daily inspiration and the very heart of SSES. It has been a privilege to learn from you, laugh with you, and cheer you on.
While this decision was not an easy one, I know it is the right time. I look forward to spending more time with my family and embracing the next chapter, carrying with me the memories, relationships, and lessons that SSES has given me.
Thank you for allowing me to serve this remarkable community for so many years. SSES will always hold a special place in my heart.
With sincere gratitude,
Kimberly Fox Santora
Principal
